Include the recipient’s full name, the intended city, the date and any address detail you can confirm. A building name, workplace or familiar landmark can help explain the destination; label uncertain information rather than presenting it as fact.

Separate missing details from an unknown destination

Knowing the correct building but not the apartment number is different from knowing only that someone lives somewhere in Jordan. Say which parts are missing. If you do not know the city, ask the recipient or a trusted contact first; the city affects whether the shop can offer the service and what delivery arrangement is appropriate.

Do not enter a guessed address just to complete a form. Contact the shop if a required field prevents you from accurately describing the situation. A false street or building number may send the order into the wrong delivery plan.

Plan the surprise around contact

A recipient who does not answer unfamiliar calls can be difficult to reach. If secrecy matters, ask whether a trusted friend or family member can provide the address and accept coordination. Obtain that person’s agreement before listing them as the contact.

If the recipient cannot be reached

Under Botanica’s delivery policy, the driver attempts to contact an absent recipient. If the recipient cannot be reached and no alternative instructions were provided, the order may be returned; redelivery incurs an additional charge. The same policy excludes refunds for failed deliveries caused by incorrect addresses or lack of recipient response.

Keep your own contact reachable and agree any backup receiver in advance. Ask the shop which alternative instructions it can accept; a note suggesting a neighbour or unattended doorstep is a request, not an accepted handover arrangement. If you later obtain the full address, update the existing order and ask the shop to acknowledge the correction.
