Choose the handover location
A convenient address for the sender is not always convenient for the recipient. If you are thinking of an office surprise, check that the workplace accepts gifts and that the person will be there. A home delivery may make more sense if the flowers would otherwise need to be carried across the city after work.
For a building with several entrances or a shared reception, give the entrance and receiver details. If a map location is available, confirm that it points to the intended building. Explain uncertain information rather than quietly guessing it.
Get the schedule agreed
Tell the shop the delivery date and any restriction on when the recipient can receive. Botanica’s Zarqa page says timing depends on the order, location and availability; the stated same-day cutoff applies to Amman. Ask which date or window is available for your selected arrangement.
If the person has a short break at work, do not plan the gift around that narrow interval unless the florist agrees it can meet it. A wider receiving window or a trusted alternative receiver may be more practical.
Match the format to the place
For a workplace, think about available desk space and the journey home. For a home delivery, consider whether the recipient has a suitable container. A box or vase in a photograph is not sufficient evidence that it is included in every option; read the written contents and selected variant.
If you add another gift, check that the recipient can look after it after handover. Flowers and a cake create different receiving needs. Ask about packing and any storage instructions rather than assuming both can wait at a reception desk.

Add the recipient’s local number, the shop’s accepted date, your own contact and the final card message. Use one destination; avoid leaving several possible addresses for the delivery team to choose between.
If the receiving plan changes
If a work meeting or shift change means nobody can receive, contact the florist with the order reference before dispatch. Ask whether the address, date or receiver can be changed and whether that alters the fee. Do not treat the new location as accepted until the shop confirms it.
Botanica’s delivery policy follows office and other venue receiving rules. It also says an order may be returned if the recipient cannot be reached and no alternative instructions were provided, with an additional charge for redelivery. A reachable, agreed receiver is therefore part of the delivery plan, not an optional detail.
